Final Paper

Hey guys,

I want to remind you that we have a meeting today at 1:30 PM! Please bring your laptops! Also, we need to work today, since our papers seems to be introducing the movie to the reader on every occasion. I think that Carolyn's introduction is effective, and fits the length of the paper fruitfully. Furthermore, I think Nicole, and I are going to have to withdraw some information from the opening paragraphs of masculinity and femininity. Otherwise the reader will get three different intros to the movie, and such would not be effective. Anyhow, I will see you later, and we can work on these issues!

-Enrique

So we had a productive meeting during class time today.I think that it will be good if we each aim for our parts of the paper to be 4-5 pages. Each part needs to be between 3 and 7 pages. Also, we decided to meet Thursday at 4 at our usual spot in the hub, with our sections of the paper done so that we can then review eachothers sections and begin putting them together.

Hey Guys,

So we had our typical Sunday meeting today, and we decided key issues pertaining to our paper. Among them, we have opted for writing the paper in past tense, and focusing on major issues around the film, while employing a great deal of the scripts available to us. As Nicole already stated, we have decided to meet once more this week (probably around mid-week), and then once more to POLISH the paper. On a side note, we had the chance to review each other's papers and give suggestions as to what should be added for tomorrow's deadline. By the way, we should meet tomorrow in the afternoon!

-Enrique

I was thinking that we should meet a couple of times before the deadline:

Tomorrow at 5

Mid-week next week

and Saturday or Sunday to wrap things up

let me know what you guys think!

-nicole

Okay so we decided we'll meet Sunday at 5:00 by the fishtanks in the hub, with an outline of our section of the paper.

See you guys then - have a good weekend!

- Carolyn

Hey everyone

So we've decided on analyzing different aspects of Knocked Up for our paper.

I am analyzing the socio-economic aspects of the movie.

Nicole is analyzing feminism

I think Enrique said he might do masculinity

Scott- when you think of something let us know.

Let's meet again sometime next week.

Scot Brown- I sent this out on Angel, but just for the sake of redundancy;

Group,

Before everyone finishes up their work, everyone needs to do a google search for "knocked up AND sexism" and look through the hits. Especially these links:
